The 2025 festival will be held in Paris on November 21st and 22nd, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Films with 2023, 2024 or 2025 copyright may apply.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Duration<\/strong>: more than 50 minutes
\u2013 Subject matter<\/strong>: contemporary Japanese society
\u2013 Languages<\/strong>: French, Japanese with French or English subtitles, English.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 To compete please send an email to festival@fenetres-japon.fr<\/a> including (1) a brief introduction of the filmmaker, (2) a summary of the film \u2013which will appear on the festival site if the film is preselected \u2013as well as (3) a link to an online copy of your film. Instead of a link you may also upload your film directly on the festival\u2019s Seafile account using this link: https:\/\/seafile.communs.net\/u\/d\/e1c58b9956154d00812d\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dates<\/strong>
\u2013 June 1st, 2025: deadline for reception of films
\u2013 Beginning of September: the selection committee preselects four films
\u2013 End of September: announcement of the preselected films which will be screened during the festival
\u2013 November 21st & 22nd: Festival<\/p>\n\n\n\n
